First time with "real food"

Time for dinner! Tonight, Stewart made his first foray into the world of real people food. He had a little bit of rice mush cereal and milk.

Dad gives it a whirl, he seems to like it. Of course we don't realize until after shoving the spoon in his mouth a few times that he has no idea how to use a spoon.

More yummy goodness!

I am done, I got most of it all over my hands, clothes and neck, but I get to lick the spoon! He really liked the spoon...for that matter, he really likes anything that he can grab and then shove in his mouth.

Enticing him to crawl...

So I was a bit bored with the standard routine of Stewart on his back on his mat so I put him on his tummy to see what he would do. Placing a bear in front of him gave him some incentive to move, so he did, about 6 inches or so. And then, he threw up. Dad is not so smart sometimes. He did enjoy it, though and you can see how strong he is in these photos.

it's not moving...

Dad, it's not moving!

Friday Morning Breakfast Club

every Friday morning (well, 3 weeks in a row) a Stewart, me, and a few others have gone to breakfast at random spots in Bloomington. Last week was at the Village Deli on Kirkwood. It was a great morning and we ate outdoors.
