Jersey and Stewart hanging out on the bed...
OK, before everyone gets all up in arms about one of the photos, I was very safe with little Stewart. Plus, we all know that Jersey is the best dog in the world. Anyway, here are a couple of good ones....
Jersey resting on "his" bed.
Stewart, hanging out with his big bro. Stewart loves to have one of his burp cloths with him, kind of like Linus. He never notices when it is gone, but he likes to keep it around.

Rolling Rolling Rolling
New pasttime is the roll in the crib and cry for mom and dad. Stewart does this a few times a night which has made us long for our child that used to sleep 8-12 hours straight.
Oh well, another phase.

Vaccinate Me!
Stewart had his vaccinations this week, not the most fun we've had but it is better than getting dipheria, tetanus, or hepatitis. He was all happy and giggly and then had a look of disbelief as the first of three needles went in his leg. The look was soon replaced by the widest I have ever seen his mouth open accompanied by the loudest I have ever heard him scream. He calmed down after a few minutes, then I took him to Dairy Queen for a Blizzard (just kidding).
In other news, he weighed 12#, 15oz and was 25" tall(?)

The journey to Indiana...
the family truckster is loaded up and ready to go from our rental in Yarmouth...pretty cool house, huh? Jersey did not go in the trailer.
Brenna looking serious as she takes the first leg.
Stewart in a good mood. He did not like the long rides in the car.
Jersey, the king, had the back hatch all to himself. Three windows on which to slobber.

Growing....
So Stewart was weighed yesterday, comes in at 12# 7oz.
Mom packed up his 0-3 month clothes and he is now showing in his 12-18 pound wardrobe.
the mohawk? It is still there, but barely. Hair is coming in more and more and it is flattening out.
First Night in the Crib...and New Weight
Stewart slept for the first time in his crib last night. We (more B) made the plunge and put him to bed in there to get him out of the habit of sleeping in our bed. One wake up in the night at 2am was worth it.
In other news...we visted the doctor and Stewart weighs 12# 7 oz.

First Babysitting
Mimi and grandad came up for the afternoon and watched their grandson for the first time while the parents had dinner with tom and Liz. We are making the rounds, I guess you'd call it, before we head back to Indiana in 12 short days.
I promise more photos soon, less commentary...

Beach to Beacon 2004
I am slow. 45.30 something for the race.
Fun race, warm up on big dog alley, rain at the start, a bit humid. Rainy at the finish.
Better luck (and training) next year.
